I know in the 2000s f1 allowed any tyre manufacturer the teams wanted. Most used bridgestones, some Michelin, firestones, goodyear, Cooper Avon. Many tyre suplliers could probably allow for some to cater directly for a specefic car rather then one size fits all for each team.

In my opinion, pirelli and Michelin is way better than Bridgestone
